A studio built around one standard.

Sasha.B.B.B Nail Studio is a Russian manicure studio in Boca Raton. We work dry, with an e-file and without soaking, and we use hard gel only.

The founder, Aleksandra, learned the technique in St. Petersburg, Russia, and has more than 10,000 hours at the table. She trains every technician here personally, so the standard does not change from chair to chair.

Three things we will not compromise on.

We work dry.

No water soak. The technician works on a consistent dry surface and can see the nail and surrounding area throughout the detailed e-file preparation.

Hard gel only.

No dip powder and no acrylic services. The studio works with hard gel and explains the selected product and maintenance plan before application.

Sterilization you can watch.

Tools are processed between clients according to the studio protocol and single-use items are used once. Ask to see the process — we would rather you asked than wondered.

Who trains the people who do your nails.

Aleksandra trained in the Russian manicure technique in St. Petersburg, Russia — the city where the technique was developed, not the one four hours up the Florida coast. Not a weekend course: the place where the standard is set.

More than 10,000 hours at the table since. Every nail technician working in this studio is trained by her personally: not hired on a certificate, taught and then checked.

That is the whole reason the result is the same whichever chair you sit in.

Questions clients ask first.

All questions →

Is a Russian manicure safe?

No manicure technique is risk-free. Russian manicure safety depends on technician training, control of the e-file, product handling and sanitation. Stop the service if you feel pain or persistent heat, and seek medical care for swelling, blistering, a spreading rash or signs of infection. Every technician here is trained by the founder before working with clients.

Which St. Petersburg — Florida or Russia?

Russia. Aleksandra trained in St. Petersburg, Russia, the city where this technique was developed, and brought it to Boca Raton when she moved to the United States. It is a fair question to ask, because Florida has a St. Petersburg of its own — but the training, and the standard, came from the other one.

What is a Russian manicure?

A Russian manicure is a dry manicure technique using an electric file for detailed preparation around the nail and cuticle area. The service is performed without soaking and is followed by shaping and product application chosen for the natural nail.

How is a Russian manicure different from a regular manicure?

The main difference is the preparation method. A Russian manicure is performed dry and uses an e-file for detailed work around the nail and cuticle area. A traditional manicure may use soaking and hand tools. The best choice depends on the client's nails, skin and technician training.
