Training · in studio
The day itself
Eight hours. Three of theory, five at the table on a live model. You are corrected while your hand is still moving — that is the only correction that holds.
Why the practice half is longer
“Theory you can read anywhere. Practice is where all of us have problems. We are all theorists, but doing it is another matter.” That is why the theory is three hours and not six, and why nobody leaves having only watched.
What you work on
The same tools the studio has used for over seven years: Staleks curved scissors, the Mongolia type; Luxio Accent gel; a Marathon machine. The formula has not changed in that time and the supply has not changed either — which is the point. You cannot learn a hand movement on equipment that behaves differently every month.
Bring your own tools if you prefer to learn on what you will go home to. Working on your own materials is arranged beforehand, not on the morning.
What you leave with
- A real certificate, not a printed diploma
- $1,000 per person — one price, no discounts, the same for everyone
- Five to eight people. Eight is the ceiling — one teacher cannot safely watch more hands than that
- Taught by Aleksandra herself. There is no second teacher
- Held in English
Dip is not part of this class. It is a different technique and it gets its own day rather than a rushed hour at the end of this one.
Say no to this day if
- You have never worked on a paying client. This sharpens what you already do; it does not start you
- You want a certificate to hang more than you want your hand to change
- You are looking for the cheapest training day in Florida. There is one, and it is not this
- You want to be told your work is good. You will be stopped mid-motion, and it is not flattering
Ask about a date on the training page, or write to hello@sashabbb.com. Working alone and want one case looked at instead? That is a different thing.
